Tri Indy

Nick and I decided to try our hand at an Olympic Distance Triathlon for the first time. We had done a few Sprint Triathlons before and thought that we would try to step it up a level. Though tired and sore (and totally undertrained), we managed to complete a 1500 meter swim (in the canal!), followed by a 23 mile bike and then a 6 mile run.

This look best describes how we were feeling toward the end of the run.

Surprise!

I surprised Nick with a party at the Rathskeller to celebrate his 30th birthday and his MBA graduation! Big year!

Brewery Tour!

I surprised Nick with a trip to Three Floyds Brew Pub and Bell's Brewery for his 30th Birthday. We were also lucky enough to find a Schlotzsky's in Kalamazoo! It was a successful weekend!
