Pentwater

Nick and I went to Michigan again for our 2nd annual camping trip.  This year was a little too early though (aka: too cold), plus there was a ton of rain in the forecast (neither of which bodes well for sleeping in a not-so-great tent).  So we had to pack it up and head home after just 2 nights.  We decided to spend the rest of our time on a stay-cation.  We set up shop in our backyard, cooking dinner on the camp stove and roasting marshmallows in our chiminea.  We also spent a couple days hanging out at Eagle Creek.  It ended up being pretty fun! And it was definitely better than freezing our butts off in Michigan.  We had to sleep in sweats and winter hats in our tent while we were there!

As an added bonus, Kodi was able to join us for the second half of our vacation, which we think he was happy about!

I'm sure Kodi appreciated the stay-cation with you guys. It looks like Michigan is pretty hit and miss with the weather.

As soon as they come out with a climate controlled tent and bug-free campground I'll be happy to come along with you guys! They also have fast-food places there, right?

You are too funny. Are you never going to take your poor kids camping?
